BTS announce release of ‘Love Yourself In Seoul’ DVD

The concert film will come backed with a commentary film and extra behind-the-scenes footage

BTS have announced the release of a new DVD, Love Yourself In Seoul.

The concert film was previously shown in cinemas around the world last month. Intended to be a one-day event, screenings were expanded for longer runs due to demand.

Now, fans will be able to purchase the movie on DVD and Blu-Ray. Both releases will feature three discs of content, a photobook, and a photocard. The DVD release will also come with a poster, while the Blu-Ray will include a mini photobook.

The discs will include the original concert film, which was filmed at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium on August 26, 2018, alongside a commentary film by the band, plus other bonus, behind-the-scenes footage including a practice and rehearsal film and pre-production film. They will also come with Korean, English, and Chinese subtitles. Watch a teaser for the DVD below.

Love Yourself In Seoul will be available to pre-order from Thursday (February 28). The DVD will be released on March 27, with the Blu-Ray to follow on April 23.

Meanwhile, BTS recently announced new world tour dates, including one show at London’s Wembley Stadium. The Korean group will perform at the stadium on June 1, with tickets due to go on sale on March 1.

Reviewing the New York stop of the boyband’s ‘Love Yourself’ tour, NME called it a “dazzling and inclusive stadium spectacular” and “a rush of slick choreography, sparkly costume changes, pyrotechnics, and fireworks.”

Last week (February 20), EDM star Steve Aoki spoke about BTS, telling NME: “We did three songs already. I know they’re going to be working on their stadium tour. I love those guys and we have nothing else planned as of now, but you never know what’s going to happen in the future.”
