BTS are set to make their debut on Saturday Night Live next month.
The hugely popular K-pop band will perform in support of their newly announced album ‘Map Of The Soul: Persona’, which is due for release on April 12. It’s the follow-up to 2018’s ‘LOVE YOURSELF: Tear’ and ‘LOVE YOURSELF: Answer’.
BTS will appear on SNL the day after (April 13), where they’ll perform as the music guest on the long-running live variety show. Emma Stone will guest host on the night.
The SNL Twitter account anticipated the huge interest in the announcement from BTS fans with the below tweet, which they knowingly captioned “*casually leaves this here*”.

The upcoming SNL schedule will also see Tame Impala make their debut headline performance on the show on March 30 on a Sandra Oh-hosted episode. Game of Thrones star Kit Harington will host the week after (April 6).
BTS play two huge dates at London’s Wembley Stadium in June, with the first show selling out in 90 minutes earlier this month. The group performed at The O2 in the capital in October 2018.
Following their appearance at this year’s Grammys ceremony, Dolly Parton expressed an interest in collaborating with BTS after seeing a video of the group enjoying her performance on the night.
