New Burial EP set for December release

The title of the three track release is unknown

A new EP by Burial is set for release later this month.

A name for the EP has not yet been confirmed but it is known that it will consist of three tracks and will have a run time of 28 minutes. The EP will be available on 180g 12″ vinyl and on CD and will be released on Hyperdub on December 16.

The release is the dubstep and electronica artist’s first since the ‘Truant/Rough Sleeper’ EP which came out at the end of 2012. Burial, the stage name of William Bevan, released his debut album, ‘Burial’, in 2006, following it with ‘Untrue’ in 2007. A series of EPs including ‘Street Halo’ and ‘Kindred’ followed, but the artist is yet to release a third LP.

In 2011 Burial collaborated with Massive Attack for the split 12″ ‘Four Walls’/’Paradise Circus’, which saw the London DJ and producer remix two tracks by the Bristol-based group. ‘Four Walls’ was a previously unheard track, while ‘Paradise Circus’ featured on Massive Attack’s 2010 album ‘Heligoland’.
