GOT HIM ALL IN CHECK…

The rapper's on his best behaviour after being caught in possession of a loaded gun...

Busta Rhymes was sentenced to five years’ probation at the MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT on Friday (October 6) on charges of possessing a .45 calibre pistol in NEW YORK in May last year.

According to reports on US website Allstar, rapper Rhymes, real name Trevor Smith, had pleaded guilty at the time of the offence when he was caught by police with the unregistered, loaded pistol in his Mercedes after being pulled over for driving erratically.

Sentence had been deferred until a dispute between Rhymes and his former girlfriend over their seven-year-old son was resolved.
