Carl Barat-narrated docklands film trailer released online – video

Anthony Rossomando has composed music for the film

The trailer for the documentary film about the London docks narrated by Carl Barat has been released online.

No Place/Good Place: The Rime Of The Modern Mariner, which can be watched below, has been scored by Barat‘s former Dirty Pretty Things bandmate Anthony Rossomando. Although Barat narrates the film he cannot be heard in the trailer.

The film is set to premiere at the East End Film Festival in the UK capital on April 24 at St Anne’s Church in Limehouse.

The documentary features the myths, superstitions and folklore surrounding the docks and still held by modern mariners. It will be screened in selected London cinemas, plus festivals in Europe and the USA.

Meanehile, Barat was spotted enjoying a drink with his former Libertines bandmates Pete Doherty, Jon Hassell and Gary Powell at the weekend (March 20) in Hammersmith, west London.
