Carly Rae Jepsen announces new album ‘Dedicated’ and new tour dates

The star will follow-up 2015's 'Emotion' later this year

Carly Rae Jepsen has announced the release of her new album ‘Dedicated’ as well as a raft of new tour dates.

The Canadian pop star last released a proper record in 2015’s ‘Emotion’. A year later, she put out a collection of outtakes from that album’s recording sessions, called ‘Emotion Side B’.

Now, Jepsen has confirmed her next album will be called ‘Dedicated’ and will be released on May 17 via School Boy/Interscope. A tracklist has yet to be confirmed, but the record will feature recent releases ‘Now That I Found You’ and ‘No Drug Like Me’.

The singer has also shared the artwork for the album announcement, which sees her sat on the floor in a cream outfit with her back to the camera. The title and release date are handwritten in the top right-hand corner.

Jepsen will take the album on the road later this year on her newly-confirmed US tour. She will play:
