CAT IN THE BAG FOR READING/LEEDS

The bill is now finalised for August Bank Holiday fests...

Catatonia are the latest act to be added to the main stage bill for the Reading and Leeds festivals over the August Bank Holiday. The band announced the date immediately after their Home International appearance last week.

The Donnas, Sleater-Kinney, Doves, The Living End, Witness and The All Seeing I have been added, with the latter promising to bring ‘special guests’ – one is rumoured to be Jarvis Cocker, who co-wrote the ‘Walk Like A Panther’ single.

There will also be a Carling Premier Stage for new bands. Acts announced for it so far include: Nashville Pussy My Ruin The Fly The Delgados Cinerama Remy Zero Smog Cornelius Subcircus Big Leaves Black Box Recorder Cha Cha Cohen Chicks Cube Cyclefly Dark Star Dawn Of The Replicants Experimental Pop Band Jim’s Super Stereoworld Liberty 37 Lit Medal Mercedes Muse Rico Rosita Seafood Seafruit Silt Sona Fariq Venini The Webb Brothers
