CERYS MATTHEWS, Iggy Pop and ex-Python man Eric Idle are the latest names confirmed to take part in the recording of the BBC’s millennium charity record, a reworking of The Rolling Stones‘It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll’.

As previously reported, the record is along the same lines as the BBC‘s ‘Perfect Day’ recording, with each of the guest celebrities taking a line each.
