Catfish and The Bottlemen add dates to UK tour

Band will play in Hull, Northampton and Margate in May.

Catfish and the Bottlemen have added three gigs to their current UK tour.

The band, fronted by Van McCann, are currently on the road and began their run of live dates in Glasgow on Monday night (April 4). However, they have now announced plans to play in Hull, Northampton and Margate in May.

The newly announced dates will see Catfish and The Bottlemen play Hull Arena on May 14, Margate Winter Gardens on May 20 and Northampton Royal and Derngate on May 21. Tickets for the new shows go on sale at 10am on Friday (April 8).


The band will release ‘The Ride’, the follow-up to 2014’s ‘The Balcony’, on May 27 through Island Records. The album includes recent single ‘Soundcheck’.

Lead singer Van McCann said of the simplicity of the album, “I feel like everybody started thinking too outside the box trying to be arty and different. We wanted to stay inside the box.”
