Band will also release new single 'Kathleen' on February 2
Catfish And The Bottlemen have announced their biggest headline show to date at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on November 6, as well as the release of their new single ‘Kathleen’ on February 2.
Tickets for the Brixton show, which has been added to band’s already sold out 12-date UK tour that’s taking place in March, will go on sale Friday January 23 at 9am.
The Catfish And The Bottlemen tour kicks off on March 23 at Leeds’ O2 Academy, and includes two nights at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.
Earlier this month, the band made their US television debut, performing new single ‘Kathleen’ on the Late Show with David Letterman, which you can watch below.
Catfish And The Bottlemen band recently revealed they’ve offered to write songs for Haim, after singer Van McCann met bassist Este Haim in Los Angeles. The pair met after Catfish And The Bottlemen played at Los Angeles venue The Echo in October last year on their US tour. McCann told NME he has already finished writing his band’s second album, and that he offered additional songs from the writing sessions to Haim.
“I was talking about writing songs with Este,” said McCann. “Haim are writing their second album, so I told her: ‘I’ve just done mine, so you can have one of my spare middle-eights if you want. If you ever need a middle-eight, I’m your man.'”
