Blossoms and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes will also play All Points East Presents show

Catfish and the Bottlemen have been confirmed to headline a huge outdoor London show this summer.

Van McCann and band will top the bill of an All Points East Presents show on June 1 at Victoria Park, East London.

Supporting the group will be the likes of Blossoms, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, The Hunna, The Neighbourhood and The Amazons. More acts are to be added.

Catfish frontman Van McCann says of the news: “This is gonna be a massive night! Doesn’t get much better than 40,000 people outdoors screaming every word you’ve written back at you! That’ll do us nicely!”

Tickets go on sale this Friday (January 26) at 9am. Find more information here.

The gig will follow this year’s inaugural All Points East festival, which runs from May 25-27 and will include performances from LCD Soundsystem, Björk, Lorde, The xx and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Other APE Presents shows include one headlined by The National and another with a bill including Nick Cave, Patti Smith and St Vincent.

Catfish and The Bottlemen had already announced other outdoor shows for later this year, which will see them play Newcastle and Cardiff in May and July. The band released their second album ‘The Ride’ back in May 2016.
