The band have shared another taste of their upcoming third album

Catfish And The Bottlemen have shared ‘Fluctuate’, the second track from their upcoming new album.

The band are set to release their third record, ‘Balance’, on April 26, via Island Records. The album follows 2016’s ‘The Ride’.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1, frontman Van McCann described the track as one of the “heaviest” things the band have done. You can listen to ‘Fluctuate’ below now.

The song follows the release of the first single from the album in ‘Longshot’, which was shared last month.

‘The Balance’ was recorded with Jacknife Lee (The Killers, U2) in County Westmeath’s Grouse Lodge Studios. McCann previously described working with the legendary producer, saying: “He was the first up and the last awake. It’s good when you’re completely engulfed in recording in a place like that, living together, because every day and all day it was about the songs. We had fun too; they were the funniest album sessions we’ve done.”

Meanwhile, the band are set to head out on a tour of the UK and Ireland days after their new album is released. They will kick things off in Galway on April 28 before visiting six other cities on the trip.

Catfish And The Bottlemen recently revealed how they were pranked by Green Day while supporting the veteran band on their US tour in 2017.
