Happy Birthday, Chance
Chance The Rapper has shared an epic playlist to celebrate his 25th birthday. Check it out below.
April 16 marked the hip-hop hero celebrating a quarter of a century on this earth, so he shared the 31 track playlist long, ‘Big Chano: 25 & Alive’ – featuring the likes of Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Drake, Francis and the Lights, Erykah Badu, JAY-Z, Lauryn Hill, Michael Jackson, N.E.R.D and many more.
This comes after Chance joined Cardi B on stage for her celebrated performance at Coachella 2018, as well as 21 Savage and G-Eazy.
Only a week after releasing acclaimed debut ‘Invasion of Privacy‘, the ‘Bodak Yellow’ star battled the heat as she showcased the record on Coachella’s main stage.
And it seemed that the significance of the occasion wasn’t lost on the star either, as she brought out some of the record’s biggest guest stars for the performance.
‘Best Life’ received a huge reaction as she joined forces with Chance The Rapper, along with similarly well received guest spots from G-Eazy (No Limit) 21 Savage (Bartier Cardi) and Kehlani (Ring).
Meanwhile, Chance recently spoke of plans for his next record – saying that he’s in a “collaborative frame of mind” and has been working with Francis and the Lights and Childish Gambino.
The artist last released an album in the form of 2016’s ‘Colouring Book’. NME said of the LP: “Fizzingly fun, this third mixtape sees Chance finessing but certainly not hampering, his freewheeling nature.”
“I never really had a big, drawn-out plan,” said Chance. “I’m more in a collaborative frame of mind. I’ve been talking with this artist Francis and the Lights – we’re working on something.
“Me and [Young] Thug, we’ve been making songs forever. We’ve got so many songs, so we’ve been talking about dropping something together.”
He added: “Same thing with Donald Glover, Childish Gambino – a lot of people. I’ve just been making songs – that’s my shit right now, that’s what I’m into.”
