Chance The Rapper praises “one-of-a-kind” Kanye West in series of tweets

The ‘Coloring Book’ artist took to social media earlier to acknowledge the influence of the ‘The Life of Pablo’ rapper

Chance The Rapper has taken to Twitter to register the great respect that he holds for Kanye West.

The Chicago rapper posted a series of tweets on the social media platform earlier after West himself praised his “brother” Chance’s new mixtape, ‘Coloring Book’, on Twitter last night. “Chance too good,” Kanye wrote. “God level bars.” West appears as a guest vocalist on the mixtape’s opening track, ‘All We Got’, while Chance delivered a verse on ‘The Life of Pablo’’s opening track ‘Ultralight Beam’.

Speaking on Twitter, Chance repaid the compliment by putting on record the huge influence that West has had on both his upbringing and his music career. “It’s crazy cause I feel like I met Kanye the first time I heard ‘We Don’t Care’,” said Chance, referencing the second track on West’s 2004 debut album ‘The College Dropout’.
