Chance The Rapper has revealed what may be the artwork for his third album

This will be Chance's first solo release since 2013

Yesterday Chance The Rapper posted a picture that looks a lot like an album cover on his Instagram page.

The image looks a little like it’s been painted and features the Chicagoan rapper wearing a baseball cap with the number three on the front, backed by a pink, starry sky, and with a parental advisory sticker.

When he posted it, Chance also wrote “Chanceraps.com. #chance3” in the description. A visit to his website only reveals the same picture and a chance to buy posters of it. Nothing officially states that it will be the album cover yet, but it’s likely.

‘Chance 3’ will be the rapper’s first solo release since his 2013 breakthrough, ‘Acid Rap’.

Last month Chance released his video for ‘Angels’, the lead single from ‘Chance 3’, which first dropped in October 2015.

Directed by Austin Vesely and featuring Saba Anglana – who’s both on the track and a passenger in Chance’s car during the video – the new footage features Chance playing the role of the title’s angel as he flies over his hometown of Chicago.

Chance also recently announced plans to release a new mixtape in April, which, until now, seemed a given as both ‘Acid Rap’ and his first mixtape, 2012’s ’10 Day’ were released in the month of April.

We can only assume the release of ‘Chance 3’ is imminent.
