“It’s called #Free and yes it’s real,” wrote Chance via Instagram. “Conceived from magic, love, acid and bases. We made this the moment we met.”

‘Free Based Freestyles Mixtape’ is Chance’s first release since completing work on Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment’s debut album ‘Surf’. The band also consists of Trumpet (Nico Segal), Peter Cottontale, Greg Landfair Jr and Nate Fox, while the LP, released in May, features guest spots from Busta Rhymes, Janelle Monáe and Erykah Badu.

Lil B was in the news in January when an electrical fire broke out in his apartment building home, spreading throughout the two-story complex in Contra Costa County, California. The BasedGod was unharmed, however, after 15-year-old resident Mateo Ysmael ran through the building to wake everyone up.
