Chance The Rapper shares alternative version of James Blake collaboration

Original demo track for 'Life Around Here' appears online

Chance The Rapper has revealed an alternative version of his recent collaboration with James Blake.

The pair released ‘Life Around Here’ in 2013. The demo version of the track was shared by Chance The Rapper last night (March 18). Posting on Twitter, he wrote: “This was the og (original) idea for me and James’ first collaboration. James never liked this verse.” Scroll down to hear the song now.

Earlier this year Chance shared a picture of himself with James Blake in their new home. As revealed to NME in January, the rapper and Mercury Prize winner are now roommates, having moved into a new home in Los Angeles.

Chance The Rapper recently announced details of a one-off London date to take place in July.

The US rapper, who released the ‘Acid Rap’ mixtape in 2013, will headline London Forum on July 13. Scroll down for ticket details. The live show coincides with Chance The Rapper’s appearance at Wireless Festival in London, which this year will be headlined by Kanye West, Drake and Bruno Mars.
