Charli XCX and Sophie collaboration previewed – watch

Charli XCX has teamed up with emerging UK producer Sophie.

Sophie, an affiliate of the PC Music label, previewed the collaboration during a DJ set recently. Charli posted the short clip on Twitter, writing: “XCX X @SOPHIEMSMSMSM FUTURE/SOON”. Watch below.

Charli XCX recently released her second album ‘Sucker’. Speaking to NME about ‘Sucker’, Charli XCX said she’d be using the LP to establish herself as a solo artist, after duetting with Iggy Azalea and writing for Icona Pop. “I can write a fucking hit song,” she said. “And I’m going to write some for me now. I feel like as an artist I’ve done so many collaborations now that I think I just want to take this record for myself.”

Charli XCX is set to tour the UK this April and May. Starting in Brighton on April 24, the tour will then visit London, Glasgow, Sheffield, Oxford, Manchester and Nottingham before ending in Birmingham on May 2. Tickets for all dates go on sale at 9am on Friday (November 7).
