Charli XCX shares ‘Vroom Vroom’ video – watch

She's also announced she's working with Siba on her new album

Charli XCX has released a video for ‘Vroom Vroom’, the first track of her ‘Vroom Vroom EP’, released in February.

The new EP was the first release by her new label, Vroom Vroom Recordings. XCX, aka Charlotte Aitchison, said at the time, “I’ve worked with Sophie on the new EP and what we create together speaks for itself. Sometimes we get aggressive, sometimes we get beautiful; he pushes me and I push him. I’m making beautiful party songs right now and this is just the start.”

The new video is shot in stark black and white, with colour seeping in during its final moments. Watch it below:

Meanwhile, Aitchison has recently discussed working on new material on her Beats 1 radio show.

Speaking on April 21 on her show, ‘The Candy Shop’, she said, “I’ve been finishing recording my record and whilst I was doing that I met Siba. We worked together in the studio and I was just so blown away by him.”

She had previously said of her forthcoming record, “The album goes to other places and I can’t wait for people to hear it. I feel the most creative I have in a long time and I couldn’t be more excited for the next chapter.”
