Charli XCX and Rita Ora perform ‘Doing It’ on ‘The Graham Norton Show – watch

Duo perform single from Charli XCX's forthcoming album 'Sucker'

Charli XCX and Rita Ora performed new single ‘Doing It’ on The Graham Norton Show last night. Scroll down to watch their performance.

‘Doing It’ will feature on XCX’s new album ‘Sucker’. The album was originally scheduled to be originally scheduled for release in October last year, but was subsequently pushed back until later this month (February). Speaking about the delay at the time, XCX said that the success of her single ‘Boom Clap’ led to the release date being delayed as it was necessary to “launch the album properly”.

Speaking to NME about ‘Sucker’ earlier this year, Charli XCX said she’d be using the LP to establish herself as a solo artist, after duetting with Iggy Azalea and writing for Icona Pop. “I can write a fucking hit song,” she said. “And I’m going to write some for me now. I feel like as an artist I’ve done so many collaborations now that I think I just want to take this record for myself.”

Earlier this wee Charli XCX recorded a live cover of Taylor Swift single ‘Shake It Off’. The cover comes a week after Peace covered a Charli XCX song during their own live session for the station.

Charli XCX is set to tour the UK this April and May. Starting in Brighton on April 24, the tour will then visit London, Glasgow, Sheffield, Oxford, Manchester and Nottingham before ending in Birmingham on May 2. Tickets for all dates go on sale at 9am on Friday (November 7).
