Charli XCX unveils new song ‘Breaking Up’ – listen

Charli XCX has unveiled the studio version of her song ‘Breaking Up’, which is set to feature on her new album, ‘Sucker’.

The track has been a staple of the singer’s recent live shows, but now the UK-based pop singer has unveiled the official version. Visit Stereogum to listen to the track. Charli XCX also recently unveiled another song from her upcoming album, ‘Gold Coins’.

Both songs will feature on ‘Sucker’, the release of which was recently delayed until January 24 of next year. Tweeting about the delay, the singer stated that the success of the single ‘Boom Clap’ meant that a new date was necessary to “launch the album properly”. Charli XCX will tour the UK in spring 2015. Starting in Brighton on April 24, the singer will then visit London, Glasgow, Sheffield, Oxford, Manchester and Nottingham before ending in Birmingham on May 2.
