Girls Aloud singer has lined up 10 arena shows for this autumn

Tickets for Cheryl Cole‘s UK and Ireland arena tour go onsale today (June 15) at 9am (GMT).

The Girls Aloud singer, who will release her new album ‘A Million Lights’ on Monday (June 18), will play 10 arena shows in early October.

The dates begin on October 3 at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena and run until October 17, when the singer will headline the Metro Radio Arena in her home city of Newcastle.

The record will be the singer’s third studio album and is the follow-up to her 2010 effort ‘Messy Little Raindrops’. It includes the hit single ‘Call My Name’, which has been penned by Calvin Harris, and also includes tracks written by Lana Del Rey and Taio Cruz.

‘A Million Lights’ will be the first album that the singer releases under the name of ‘Cheryl’. Earlier this year, it was revealed that she was ditching her surname for her recording career, as she is eager to distance herself from her former marriage to Premier League footballer Ashley Cole, who she divorced in 2010 following several high-profile claims that he had cheated on her.

Cheryl will play:

Belfast Odyssey Arena (October 3)
Dublin O2 Arena (4)
Nottingham Capital FM Arena (6)
London O2 Arena (7)
Sheffield Motorpoint Arena (9)
Liverpool Echo Arena (11)
Birmingham LG Arena (12)
Manchester Arena (13)
Glasgow SECC (15)
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (17)
