Childish Gambino has announced that he’ll postpone his show at The O2 in London next weekend after suffering a foot injury.
The ‘This Is America’ rapper, an alter-ego of Donald Glover, was originally due to play the London venue on November 4, but he has been forced to shelve a string of dates after sustaining an injury to his foot during a gig in Dallas last month.
Instead, he’ll now make a belated London appearance on March 24 next year. All tickets for the original date remain valid, although fans are advised to contact their point of purchase if they are unable to make it.
“Not ready to put on 100% shows. apologies to the fans. i will be back soon”, Glover confirmed in a statement.
It’s also been confirmed that a forthcoming tour of Australia will be postponed too. For tickets to Gambino’s upcoming London show, visit here.
The initial incident took place during Glover’s show at Dallas’ American Airlines Center, which ended earlier than expected after he sustained the injury
It was later reported that the actor and musician aggravated an existing injury during the gig, with audience members claiming that Glover appeared to hurt himself while dancing or “attempting to do the splits”.
