Chris Brown to play first tour since Rihanna assault conviction

Singer set for 'fan appreciation' gigs

Chris Brown has announced plans to go on a ‘fan appreciation’ tour in the US – to play his first live dates since being sentenced to five years’ probation and community labour for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The singer will hit the road for a 17-date jaunt, kicking off at Houston House Of Blues on November 14.

A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Best Buddies International, which helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with the Jenesse Centre, a domestic-violence intervention organisation.
