There's 12 new bands at the Donington bash
The former Soundgarden frontman has courted controversy with his solo debut ‘Scream’, a radical departure produced by Timbaland.
But he hasn’t abandoned rock completely, having confirmed for the metal fest taking place at Donington Park from June 12-14.
He leads twelve new additions, including southern metallers Down, nu metal veterans Papa Roach, classic rockers Journey and a reformed Skin.
The remaining additions are Tesla, Lacuna Coil, Black Stone Cherry, Clutch, Architects, Karma To Burn and Parkway Drive.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that reformed Friday night headliners Faith No More‘s Download performance will fall as the first of their reunion tour – their first show in 12 years.
