A new CHRIS MORRIS short for WARP FILMS is to be shown at the LONDON FILM FESTIVAL.
As previously reported, the dance label’s venture into film, Warp Films, were awarded a grant from the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA). The funds will be used to make the first batch of short films.
The short from the ‘Brasseye’ creator is called ‘My Wrongs Nos 8245-8249 and 117’, and is based on the story of “a man who no longer uses his name because he’s decided he’s ceased to deserve one, and a dog called Rothko”, according to the Warp website.
The film will premiere as part of the London Film Festival on November 14-15. It is thought that the film will be released on DVD next year.
