Christina Aguilera‘s mum SHELLY KEARNS and her manager STEVEN KURTZ are being sued for $7 million by the singer’s former manager RUTH INNISS.

In a lawsuit raised in MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT, Inniss claims that in 1994 she and Kearns agreed that in the event of Aguilera securing a record contract, she would act as manager “in all phases of advancing and developing [her] career”.

According to contractual relationship with Kearns“, and that Kurtz Snr. fraudulently steered Kearns and Aguilera to sign a management deal with his son in 1995.

Steven Kurtz told MTV: “All I can say is that I’ve been working with Christina for almost four years now and I’ve never spoken to or communicated with Ruth Inniss in any way regarding the representation of Christina Aguilera.”

Aguilera is currently on an extensive tour of the US and Canada, which continues until October.
