According to press reports this morning (March 28), Aguilera will star in a series of television commercials, as well as various other cross-brand promotions with the soft-drink in a deal thought to be worth up to £50 million.
The deal is similar to one struck between Coke’s rival Pepsi and teen pop sensation Britney Spears earlier in the year.
As previously reported on NME.COM, Spears signed a deal thought to be worth tens of millions of pounds to perform in commercials for the rival soft drink, which was aired for the first time in the US during the Academy Awards ceremony earlier in the week. In addition, Pepsi will also sponsor her forthcoming world tour.
