Watch Christine and The Queens suit up in sleek video for new single ‘5 Dollars’

The song is taken from the French artist's upcoming second album 'Chris', which is due in September

Christine and The Queens has released her latest single ‘5 Dollars’ – you can watch its video below.

The song is the third to be previewed from the French artist’s upcoming second studio album ‘Chris’, which is due out on September 21. ‘Girlfriend’ was the first track to be released from the upcoming record back in May, before ‘Doesn’t Matter’ was shared last month.

‘5 Dollars’ was premiered on BBC Radio 1 earlier this evening (August 16), and its accompanying video has now been released. Starring the artist, the clip sees her getting ready in her apartment – a process which involves exercising, showering and putting in eye drops – before she eventually leaves wearing a smart tweed suit. In an email to Vogue, Chris described the video as “American Gigolo with a twist”.
