Chvrches cover Bauhaus’ ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’ – listen

The song will feature on the 'Vampire Academy' soundtrack

Chvrches have covered Bauhaus’ 1979 debut single ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’ for the Vampire Academy soundtrack.

Scroll down to listen to their version of the song, which features in the movie adapted from Richelle Mead’s novel of the same name, directed by Mean Girls‘ Marc Waters and set for release in cinemas in the UK on April 23. Other artists who have contributed tracks for the soundtrack include Sky Ferreira, Katy Perry, Au Revoir Simone and Goldfrapp.


Chvrches are set to play at the NME Awards Shows 2014 with Austin, Texas next month, performing at Scala on February 17. They then tour the UK and Ireland in March.
