Chvrches and Death Cab For Cutie confirm plans for joint tour

They'll be hitting the road together in June

Chvrches and Death Cab For Cutie have announced details of a joint tour.

In June, both groups will co-headline a string of dates across the US, coinciding with their own separate schedules.

Chvrches are currently on the road in support of their last album ‘Every Open Eye’, while Death Cab For Cutie are touring with their recent LP, ‘Kintsugi’.

They will kick off their joint jaunt on June 7 in Cleveland, Ohio, before going onto the likes of New York, Florida and North Carolina.

Chvrches will also be in the UK this summer, where they will play the Reading and Leeds Festival across the weekend of August 26-27.

They recently premiered the music video for ‘Clearest Blue’, which saw Lauren Mayberry channeling Game Of Thrones by wearing a suit of armour.

The video was directed by Warren Fu and shows an armour-clad Mayberry being led through the forest by bandmates Iain Cook and Martin Doherty to a nightclub where she dances. Meanwhile, a man who begins the video laid out with a mystery note in front of him, slowly makes his way to the same nightclub.
