Watch Chvrches get caught in a riot in new ‘Miracle’ video

New album 'Love Is Dead' arrives next month

Chvrches have shared a video for their recent single ‘Miracle’.

The Scottish trio’s third album ‘Love Is Dead‘ is due for release on May 25.

‘Miracle’ was released earlier this month and follows on from previous album tracks ‘Never Say Die’, ‘Get Out’  and ‘My Enemy’, the latter featuring The National‘s Matt Berninger.

Their ‘Miracle’ clip was directed by Warren Fu, who previously shot the band’s ‘Clearest Blue’ video in 2016. This new vid sees singer Lauren Mayberry getting caught up in a riot.

The band’s third record explores “coming to terms with the fact that there are great things in the world and there are awful things in the world and that you can’t get one without the other,” according to Mayberry.

The band will begin the series of headline dates in Denver on August 6, continuing through until October 20, where the run concludes in Boston. They will also appear at a handful of US festivals, including New York’s Governors Ball and Chicago’s Lollapalooza.
