Clap Your Hands Say Yeah ready new LP

Plus indie hopefuls confirm new tour

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are back with a new album in January.

Just ten months after wowing the alt.indie world with their eponymous debut, the Philadelphia quintet have completed the follow-up.

The as-yet-untitled collection is released on January 29, 2007 through Wichita. It was recorded in the Tarbox Studios in Upstate New York with Mercury Rev and Flaming Lips producer Dave Fridmann.

The band play a string of UK shows in February to support the release, dates as follows:

Manchester Academy (February 2)

Glasgow Barrowlands (3)

Birmingham Academy (4)

London Shepherd’s Bush Empire (13)
