Cleopatra will play for The Pope at the Vatican Christmas Carol Concert on December 19, an event broadcast all over the world.
As well as meeting The Pope (who has previously hosted gigs by THE SPICE GIRLS, BOB DYLAN and MADONNA) the girls will perform ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ and ‘Silent Night’ backed by a 100 piece orchestra on a bill that also includes SHOLA AMA, DES’REE, JEWEL and SARAH BRIGHTMAN.
Cleopatra‘s own Christmas special, aired at 3 pm GMT on ITV on December 24, features STEPS as well as ANDY COLE and SOL CAMPBELL.
Their new single ‘A Touch Of Love’ is released on February 8, coinciding with their TV series ‘Comin’ Atcha’ which starts on February 5.
