Decemberists members set for Club NME LA

Flash Hawk Parlor Ensemble to showcase unique acid-folk

Flash Hawk Parlor Ensemble featuring members of The Decemberists are set to headline Club NME Los Angeles with Fred Perry Subculture tomorrow night (June 6).

The eclectic band features guitarist/multinstrumentalist Chris Funk and multiinstrumenalist Jenny Conlee from The Decemberists putting together a unique brand of acid-folk, which Funk says is “fueled by fellowship, libations and other unmentionables.”

Also on the bill tomorrow night at Club NME Los Angeles with Fred Perry Subculture are Horse Feathers and Tom Heinl.

Resident DJ Dia and surprise guest DJs will spin a mix of rock, electronica, punk and hip-hop before and after the sets.

Club NME with Fred Perry takes place at Spaceland in the Silver Lake neighbourhood of Los Angeles every Wednesday night.
