Polytechnic to headline Club NME LA this week

Manchester band will play Spaceland

Polytechnic, the Manchester five-piece that sounds like an amalgam of every blogger in America’s idea of the perfect indie rock band, make their first stop in a lightning-quick North American tour Wednesday night (November 14) at Club NME Los Angeles with Fred Perry Subculture.

Expect to hear the tremendous singles ‘Pep’ and ‘Won’t You Come Around’, along with other breezy, shaggy, poppy songs from the band’s recent album ‘Down Till Dawn’. The band also play Friday at New York’s Mercury Lounge.

Much-buzzed Los Angeles group Castledoor open up on Wednesday, exploring the big-sound harmonic potential of pop as played by six gifted vocalists and honing the material they’ve been working on with noted L.A. producer/performer Aaron Espinoza.

Club NME takes place at Spaceland in the Silver Lake neighbourhood of Los Angeles every Wednesday night.
