Meanwhile, Chris Martin recently played a surprise gig in the Indian capital of Delhi earlier this month (July 1).

The singer was in the city with actress Frieda Pinto, promoting Global Poverty Project. The pair had been with Indian musician Vishal Dadlani when they decided to stage an impromptu performance at the Summer House bar.

“We were at a dinner together, and he just went ‘let’s go play somewhere!’ And, boom!” Dadlani explained on Twitter.

He added that the performance was “more jam, less gig. Chris did all the work, though. People were going apeshit.”

Songs Martin performed included Coldplay’s ‘Viva La Vida’, ‘Fix You’ and ‘Paradise’.
