The band’s new album, ‘Ghost Stories’, will come out on May 19. On April 28, BBC Radio 1 will broadcast an exclusive hour-long interview with frontman Chris Martin during Zane Lowe’s show between 7-9pm.

Coldplay will embark on a short, international tour to mark the release of ‘Ghost Stories’. Running between April 25 and July 1, the dates take in six cities in five countries, beginning in Germany before moving to the USA, France, Japan and finally the UK. The UK show takes place on July 1 at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

‘Ghost Stories’ sees the band working with producer Paul Epworth for the first time, plus revisiting regular collaborators Jon Hopkins, Rik Simpson & Dan Green. Epworth produced much of Adele’s hugely successful album ’21’ and has also worked with Paul McCartney, Friendly Fires, Bruno Mars and Florence + The Machine.
