Coldplay set to oust Noel Gallagher from the UK album chart summit

Professor Green is also heading for the top of the singles countdown

Coldplay are set to go straight to the top of the UK album chart with their new record ‘Mylo Xyloto’ on Sunday (October 30).

The band, who have already recorded sales of over 122,000 of their new album, look set to comfortably oust last week’s Number One ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’, which falls to Number Two.

Michael Buble and Kelly Clarkson also look set for high new entries. Buble is currently at Number Three with his festive album ‘Christmas’, while Clarkson is presently on to be Number Four with her new LP ‘Stronger’. Tom Waits is looking to enter in the Top 10 as well, with his new album ‘Bad As Me’ presently at Number Seven. Adele‘s ’21’ is also set to fall from the Top Five for the first time since it was released in January, with the LP currently down at Number 10 in the rundown.

Further down the charts, Justice‘s second album ‘Audio, Video, Disco’ is currently looking at a Number 27 placing while Machine Head‘s ‘Unto The Locust’ is set to chart at Number 24.

In the singles chart, Professor Green looks set to be Number One with his comeback single ‘Read All About It’. The rapper is presently outselling ‘Earthquake’, Labrinth‘s collaboration with Tinie Tempah, which is on course to be Number Two.

Rihanna, who has spent the last three weeks at Number One with ‘We Found Love’ is presently at Number Three. Coldplay are also set to return to the Top 20 with ‘Paradise’ presently at Number 11. Cobra Starship are on for a high new entry too, with their track ‘You Make Me Feel’ set to hit Number 14.
