COLDPLAY’S HOT TOUR DATES

The British indie stars play Australia's Big Day Out festival...

COLDPLAY, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, DARREN EMERSON and CJ BOLLAND are the latest additions to next year’s BIG DAY OUT FESTIVAL in AUSTRALIA.

Coldplay will be making their first visit to Australia for the event. While in the country, they will also play their debut Australian headline shows at the Sydney Metro Club (January 22) and Melbourne POW (29).

Already confirmed for the festival are Limp Bizkit, PJ Harvey, Placebo, Happy Mondays, Roni Size, Rammstein and the Go-Betweens.

The Big Day Out festival is touring six cities in January and February 2001. Each city will have the same headlining bands, as well as additional, local live bands at each venue. The festival will call at: Auckland Ericsson Stadium (January 19)
