Coldplay in double at London award ceremony

Chris Martin and co also honoured for latest album

Coldplay have won the Best Act In The World Today award at the Q Awards in London today (October 6).

The band also picked up plus the Best Album gong for their latest effort, ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends’ at the ceremony in London.

Duffy won the Best Breakthrough Artist award, while Keane won the Best Track gong for their recent download single ‘Spiralling’, the video for which you can watch by clicking below.


Meat Loaf won the Classic Song award for his song ‘Bat Out Of Hell’.

Pink Floyd‘s Dave Gilmour was given the Outstanding Contribution To Music award, while Kaiser Chiefs were given the Best Live Act gong.
