Coldplay are to play their biggest headline shows yet in the US, confirming shows at NEW YORK’s MADISON SQUARE GARDEN and the HOLLYWOOD BOWL in LOS ANGELES.
The band, who are currently on the road in North America, have extended their dates taking them up until June, after which they will return to Europe for festival dates, including their headline slot at T In The Park in July.
The Hollywood Bowl gig takes place on May 31, and the Madison Square Garden date is June 13. They will be two of the band’s most prestigious shows so far.

They have also just confirmed a TV appearance Stateside, on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno tomorrow (February 10) as well as their Grammys performance, which will be televised from Madison Square Garden on February 23.
Their album, ‘A Rush Of Blood To The Head’ has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide, while their debut ‘Parachutes’ has now notched up 6 million globally.
