MARILYN MANSON, COLDPLAY and THE BLACK CROWES are lined up to share the bill at BOSTON radio station WBCN’s annual live event on May 26.

The bill for the WBCN River Rave 2001, at Foxboro Stadium, also includes The Cult, Fatboy Slim, Live, Everlast, Eve 6, Lifehouse, Sevendust and Tantric.

System Of A Down who also appear at the Boston show, and additionally have radio dates lined up along with Buckcherry and Monster Magnet at KXXR radio station’s rock day in Minneapolis on May 25 and Lazer 103.3’s “BigAss BBQ” in Des Moines on May 27, have revealed that they will give fans a sneak preview of two or three new tracks from their new album, at each gig.

The Los Angeles metallers, who have been working with producer Rick Rubin, currently have 33 songs in the picture, and will begin to pare them down to a final 13 for the finished album, which is slated for release later in the year.
