The band sell out their forthcoming show in Boston in just 45 minutes...
COLDPLAY have sold out their show at the BOSTON PARADISE CLUB within 45 minutes of tickets going on sale in the US, leaving many fans empty-handed.
The band are due to start the year with a series of US shows, which mark the band’s first major attempt at breaking the American market. Tickets for the Boston gig, at the Paradise club, went on sale this afternoon (January 12), and sold out within 45 minutes.
A spokesperson for the 700-capacity club told NME.COM that this kind of response was “extremely quick”. He continued: “There is a huge buzz about Coldplay here, we were amazed. Coldplay are getting tons of play on the radio over here with ‘Yellow’, and it looks like they are going to break big.”
Tickets for the majority of the shows on the band’s US tour went on sale on January 6, and have either sold out, or are selling well.

Tickets for Coldplay’s gigs in New York and LA are yet to go on sale. Their first show of the tour at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver will be webcast live on February 8 at 10.30pm (PST) via the website [url=]www.hob.com. That appropriates to 6.30am on February 9 in the UK.
