Mysterious advert suggests new Coldplay album will be released in December

Album is expected to be called 'A Head Full Of Dreams'

Coldplay‘s new album will be released on December 4, according to eagle-eyed fans.

A mysterious poster was recently spotted on a London Underground platform, featuring a colourful ‘flower of life’ geometric pattern and the aforementioned date.

Fans of the group have since taken to social media to claim the advert is for Coldplay’s seventh album, citing a similar design on frontman Chris Martin’s t-shirt at the recent Global Citizen Festival in New York. (See below)

Coldplay’s new album is expected to be called ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ and will follow on from 2014’s ‘Ghost Stories’.

Coldplay recently played new song ‘Amazing Day’ at Global Citizen Festival. See footage of that performance below.

Speaking about the new album previously, Chris Martin said: “It’s our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it’s like the last Harry Potter book or something like that. Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something… I have to think of it as the final thing we’re doing. Otherwise we wouldn’t put everything into it.”
