The Bright Eyes man will play London, Manchester and Glasgow in July
Conor Oberst is set to play three headline shows in the UK this July.
He will play Manchester Cathedral on July 8 and London KOKO on July 9 and Glasgow ABC on July 21. Support on all dates comes from Dawes. He will also play Latitude Festival on July 19.
The dates come in support of Conor Oberst‘s new solo album, ‘Upside Down Mountain’, which comes out on May 20. The album was recorded in Nashville and, as previously reported, the Bright Eyes man has worked with First Aid Kit on the record, with the sister duo providing backing vocals throughout. The LP has been produced by musician Jonathan Wilson, who has also produced albums for Father John Misty and Dawes.
“I tried to work with some big-name producers, and it was like, ‘This dude doesn’t know shit from shit,'” Oberst told Rolling Stone recently. Oberst’s last release under his own name was 2009’s ‘Outer South’, and in 2011 Bright Eyes released their eighth album, ‘The People’s Key’.
Conor Oberst plays:
Manchester Cathedral (July 8)
London KOKO (9)
Latitude Festival (19)
Glasgow ABC (21)
