Courtney Love appeared in a NEW YORK courtroom today (October 20) pleading guilty to one charge of disorderly conduct.
The charge stems from an incident earlier this year when Courtney Love threw a microphone stand into the crowd of a gig in the city, which injured a fan.
According to the Associated Press, Courtney Love was given a conditional discharge and required to pay medical expenses totalling £1,284 to the victim.
Like the judgement on case she plead guilty to in Los Angeles in July – one misdemeanour count of being under the influence of a controlled substance, Courtney Love was again ordered to remain drug free, join a substance abuse programme and provide the court with regular updates on her progress.
The singer will also kick off her a series of West Coast dates on Saturday (October 23) in San Diego supporting ‘America’s Sweetheart’.
“The record has a second life,” she recently told NME.COM. “It’s still got five great songs on it.”
