COURTNEY COURT DRAMA!

The singer, facing drug charges, arrives late - and is then questioned over why she didn't show up last time...

COURTNEY LOVE’s court date to face two felony counts of drug possession has been postponed for the fourth time.

The singer arrived to court late yesterday (February 17) prompting concern from Judge Lisa Hart Cole, who had to temporarily postpone the matter. Her lawyer William Genego told the Judge she was on her way, but said he had no personal knowledge of her whereabouts.

Had Love not arrived in court yesterday, the bench warrant for her arrest, issued last week for failure to appear at her court hearing would have been activated.

Love arrived a short time after yesterday’s court hearing was postponed, and immediately went into chambers with her counsel. They emerged a short time later and Cole said based on the discussion in chambers, the nature of which was not disclosed, the preliminary hearing was pushed back for a fourth time, to March 16.

Cole also questioned why Love did not make her mandatory court appearance last week. At the time her counsel said it had to do with “security issues” but Love told the court yesterday she was willing to come and was on her way.
