It's only taken a year...

Courtney Love is heading to trial – almost a year after her original arrest.

The singer will face down two felony charges of drug possession on September 30 in Los Angeles. The two charges were filed almost a year ago, after Courtney Love was found in the early hours of October 2, breaking windows at the home of ‘America’s Sweetheart’ co-producer James Barber.

Courtney Love turned up in court yesterday for pretrial motions on the charges, swathed in purple, and looking healthier than recent appearances. If convicted the singer could face up to three years and eight months in prison.

Her legal battles continue this week (August 20) when she will face a delayed arraignment on an assault charge, unrelated to yesterday’s court appearance.
