The star vows to have a Top Five single in the UK "in two months"...
COURTNEY LOVE has promised to put THE STROKES “in their place” and have a hit single in the UK.
Speaking at the annual South By Southwest Music conference in Texas (March 16), Love, who has been working on new material, said she has been working with ex-4 Non-Blondes singer Linda Perry.
Love joked that the new songs would secure her a “a Top Five single” in the UK.
She told Rolling Stone: “I’m writing a lot of cool 60s garage nugget stuff. I’m headed over to England soon. In two months I’m going to have a Top Five single there. I’ll put The Strokes in their place.”
